Cut Stone & Restoration Masters 

In addition to new cut stone products, Artisana Stone is actively involved in heritage and historical restorations. With one of the largest assembly of stone carvers and masonry artisans in North America, as well as specialized scanning and reproduction technologies, Artisana Stone can restore historical buildings and stone artifacts to their original shape, texture, and even colour, in certain applications. We may use limestone, sandstone, marble or a variety of stone materials to achieve the desired qualities.. 

Typically this involves cutting a damaged section and replacing it with carved stone that matches the original design prior to degradation. The original design is achieved through the use of 3-D computer modeling, clay models, and original photographs. Depending on the materials selected, we are able to match the weathering of the existing stone so that there are no differences in appearance between the restored sections and the original stone. 

It is important to note that we take equally great care in the safe removal of the damaged stone section and the installation of the replacement piece, as we do in the restoration fabrication process. Everything is considered.
